November 2019 Second Thursday Meeting

We're celebrating Fall by decorating ourselves and having lots of fun. A special guest, Mario's father Paul came to listen and sing, too!

This photo looks a little different because the lights went out in the Community Room at the Marble Falls Library. Fortunately the outlet we had plugged the computer into and one light was on the emergency power circuit. We were able to read our music and play, and get a picture with the flash.

Gateway Villa August Luau

June 2019 Fourth Thursday Meeting

Sometimes we have to think of ourselves as 'small but mighty', but then a sweet surprise turns up. These beautiful young ladies were captivated (okay, slightly curious) by the sound of our ukes and peeked in the meeting room, so we quickly slung ukes over their heads before they could get away. Thank you, ladies, for putting up with us!

We've been doing so well the last few months, and have increased our average number of members. It's so nice we didn't scare off our new member Kay last month, although I'm sure it was a close thing!

March 2019 Fourth Thursday Meeting

This evening's meeting was wonderful! We sang and laughed a lot. A new victi...um, member, Kay, joined and she said she'll try to get to Austin to get a uke tomorrow. I don't blame her, we're a pretty impressive bunch. Since April 1st is just a couple days away, SOMEBODY thought it would be a hoot to disguise ourselves with mustaches. How did we do? Oh...I always list the participants. Dangit.
