October 2017 Second Thursday Meeting

Once again we had a nice showing for the meeting, including our percussionist who really fills out the sound. I'm feeling a little nostalgic, we have met so many wonderful people through the club. It's a great opportunity to get together with like-minded folks to sing and play!

September 2017 Fourth Thursday Meeting

This Fourth Thursday, the Marble Falls Library community room was closed for renovations. Virginia was so gracious letting us meet at her house and even provided us (me) with a dish of chocolates. Our group is sometimes small but mighty, changing the world four strings at a time!

We had a great meeting yet again and had excellent accompaniment on cajon from our new member Bobby. It seems to me music is more fun than anything!

August 2017 Fourth Thursday Meeting

We had a lively meeting and welcomed our new member Bill. We got to practice our Hawaiian songs for the Luau at Gateway Villas and I must say we're in fine voice.

August 2017 Second Thursday Meeting

This meeting we had many of 'the usual suspects' and a guest who made a significant addition to our little band. Bobby is a drummer and played my new Slaptop Cajon this meeting. It was awesome! He had never attended a Ukulele Club meeting and said it was a great experience.

July 2017 Fourth Thursday Meeting

Once a year, Marble Falls Public Library has a Summer Reading Program in the Community Room, so once again we met at Virginia's house. New members Mira and Steve came and we had a capital time. Thanks to Virginia's grandson for taking our photo!
