July 2018 Fourth Thursday Meeting

Marble Falls Library has a Summer Reading Program in July, so we met again at Virginia's house for the Fourth Thursday Meeting. We use our projector to display the song sheets, Virginia always jokes that we're lucky she has an empty wall!

Our meetings at the Llano Library are particularly nice when Louis has the opportunity to join us. We're sometimes a small group, but always mighty!

Memorial Day 2018

We were invited by the Marble Falls Senior Activity Center to perform patriotic songs for their Memorial Day celebration. The memorial presentation was beautiful and moving. We were so honored they asked us. We can't think of a more wonderful way to spend Memorial Day, thank you so very much for having us!

May 2018 Fourth Thursday Meeting

We had some nice surprises this time! A couple of young ladies, Sarah and Natalia were visiting the area and heard about our club. Patrick brought his neighbor and her daughter, what a delight!

May 2018 Second Thursday Meeting

Our meeting today was great fun! We played and sang and discussed our upcoming gig on Memorial Day, May 28 at Marble Falls Senior Center. Hope to see you all at the next meeting to practice the patriotic songs we'll be playing. The Patriotic Songbooks for the gig are HERE for Standard tuning and HERE for Baritone.

April 2018 Fourth Thursday Meeting

Children's Day Gig

The annual Children's Day celebration in Marble Falls, TX is dedicated to honoring and supporting children in the Texas Hill Country. It has grown to include opportunities for  learning, activities, food, sports and entertainment. 

Our member William entered the Talent Contest, booked as "A Special Teen and Ukulele Friends". He and his father Mario joined the club about 6 months ago for fun, relaxation and to help with William's progress in his therapy for Autism. It has helped him a great deal and members of our club backed up his presentation. 

We had a wonderful time showcasing the benefits of music for everyone, everywhere!

April 2018 Second Thursday Meeting

Our second Thursday meeting at Llano Library was great fun as always. Once in a great while one of our original members  Virginia is absent because of life stuff and we missed her. Here's hoping she's back soon!

March 2018 Fourth Thursday Meeting

What a great turnout this meeting! Our newest member Linda will be getting her first uke soon and we're excited for her. Don's bass-playing has added real depth to the mix and makes us sound SO GOOD.

March 2018 Second Thursday Meeting

Today's meeting was a blast! We're adding new songs every time and the Songbook is very diverse and interesting. Of course we have to do 'my favorite song', which is now a joke because they're all my favorites!
