August 2016 Fourth Thursday Meeting

We had a lovely meeting this evening, welcoming new member Steve. We worked on a new song, Island Way by John Cruz, and did quite well considering it was our first time. Got some ideas for new songs and I'll be working them up in the next couple of weeks.

August 2016 Gateway Villas Luau

We were invited to play for the Luau at Gateway Villas Assisted Living in Marble Falls. Our turnout was excellent and we played our Luau Songbook for 15 minutes each in their two facilities. The staff was warm and inviting and we had a blast playing for the residents, most of whom knew all the lyrics and sang along.

All in all, a colorful and handsome group, wouldn't you say?
